Zintan – Firefighting teams from the National Safety Authority – Zintan Department, managed on Saturday evening to extinguish a fire that broke out in the outer courtyard of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Hospital, following a rapid response from the authority’s personnel.
The Authority explained, in an official statement, that the firefighting team was directed to the fire site immediately upon receiving the report, where they managed to completely control the flames without recording any significant damage, either to the building or to the hospital’s medical equipment.
This successful intervention is part of the National Safety Authority’s efforts in rapid response to emergencies and preserving the safety of lives and public property.
It is worth noting that the Authority had announced last September that it had controlled another fire that broke out in a (66) electrical transformer in the city of Tiji in the Western Mountain, after firefighting teams from the Batin al-Jabal National Safety Department moved immediately upon receiving the report, which contributed to containing the fire and preventing its spread to neighboring areas.
