The Libyan Red Crescent stated on Sunday that the recovery team from its Zawiya West office recovered an unidentified body found in the Bir al-Rutam area, south of al-Harsha in Zawiya West.
The Red Crescent explained, in a post on its Facebook account, that the recovery operation took place after receiving a report from the competent authorities.
It confirmed that the body was transported in accordance with established humanitarian procedures, before being handed over to the concerned authorities to complete legal procedures and identify the deceased.
