Sebha – The Mayor of Sebha Municipality, Belhaj Ali Belhaj, held an expanded meeting on Wednesday with the head of the Municipal Guard branch, Brigadier General Ahmed Ambarak, and a number of directors of the Guard’s affiliated centers, as part of joint coordination to support the agency’s efforts in organizing and regulating public life within the city.
During the meeting, the operational reality of the Municipal Guard centers in Sebha Municipality was reviewed, and the challenges they face were discussed, in addition to presenting a number of proposals aimed at raising the level of performance and enhancing field readiness.
The meeting also addressed the issue of advertisements and violations related to public order, and ways to regulate them in line with local laws and regulations.
The meeting concluded with the approval of forming a specialized committee to assess the needs of the Municipal Guard centers. The committee will be tasked with inventorying these needs and setting priorities, with the aim of supporting the Guard and increasing its operational efficiency in various areas of the municipality.
During the meeting, the Mayor emphasized the importance of continued coordination and integration between the municipality and the Municipal Guard to ensure the protection of public health and the application of law and order.
