Tripoli – The National Center for Disease Control, in collaboration with Al-Jalaa Maternity and Gynecology Hospital, organized a scientific awareness day for the early detection of breast cancer under the slogan “Mother’s Safety… A Step Towards Prevention and Early Detection of Breast Cancer.”
The event included scientific and awareness lectures on the importance of regular screening, and methods of prevention and treatment, in addition to presentations and practical demonstrations, attended by doctors, healthcare professionals, and medical students. Accredited electronic certificates of attendance were also issued to all participants.
The event, held in partnership with the Libyan Union for Cancer Control and the Libyan Medical Students’ and Young Doctors’ Association, aims to enhance health awareness among women and the community, and to encourage medical staff to spread the culture of prevention and early detection.
