Italy’s Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, will co-chair a meeting on Libya on Wednesday, September 22, together with his German and French counterparts, Heiko Maas and Jean-Yves Le Drian, respectively, Italian news agency Nova reports.

Citing Libyan sources, Nova stated that the meeting will be held on the sidelines of the 76th United Nations General Assembly, which will be held in New York from 20-25 September.

The Malta-based aviation company Medavia began selling seats for a flight between Malta and Tripoli on Monday, September 20. According to Medavia, the seat price of for the economy class is 230 euros and 350 euros for business class.

The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) has reported on Sunday that 1,121 people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 18 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 11 others died of the virus, while 1,818 have recovered during the same reporting period.
