Sirte – The Head of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Council for Health Specialties visited Sirte. He was accompanied by members of the program evaluation team. They assessed the readiness of Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital. This occurred during a field tour of the hospital’s medical departments. The visit was part of the evaluation for Arab accreditation. The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Ali Al-Jaroushi, the hospital’s General Manager. Dr. Jadallah Daryaq, the Assistant General Manager, also joined. Heads of medical departments were present.
They inspected various specialized inpatient departments. These included intensive care, surgery, internal medicine, and pediatrics. Ambulance and emergency operations were also reviewed. The delegation reviewed the level of healthcare services provided to patients. They also examined the infrastructure and medical equipment. Work mechanisms within the departments were assessed. The team looked at approved training programs. They checked their compliance with accreditation standards. These standards are approved by the Arab Council for Health Specialties.
The team heard explanations about workflows. They discussed existing challenges. Efforts to improve the hospital’s healthcare and educational services were highlighted.
