Benghazi – The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior in the Libyan Government, Major General Faraj Qaim, on Saturday issued directives to suspend the decision banning beards for members of the police force, based on instructions from the Deputy General Commander, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa.
The Undersecretary’s office clarified in a statement that the previous circular dated September 17, which had mandated the ban on beards for police force members, has been suspended, noting its commitment to implementing the directives of the General Command while adhering to disciplinary regulations within the police force.
