US ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, said there will be no tolerance with anyone who seeks to obstruct the holding of Libya elections.
He stressed that this important election must take place “without any controversy,” noting at the same time the penalties for obstructionists.
Norland stressed on Saturday his country’s position on holding the elections on the date set for December 24.
He warned that there will be no amnesty or tolerance for those who think or seek to obstruct the electoral process, noting that it is a clear message.
Norland explained – with regard to the mercenary exit file – that there is a clear plan to remove foreign fighters and mercenaries before and after the elections.
