593 new people test positive for Coronavirus, 15 others dead in Libya

3425 people test positive for Coronavirus, 18 others dead in Libya

593 new people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 10 percent of the infection rate, according to a Monday report by the National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC).

The center also said that 15 people died of the virus, while 2,9415 have recovered during the same reporting period.

NDCD reported that 142 people are in “critical condition”.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 367,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 326,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

The virus has claimed the lives of 5,380 people. Over million people received one dose of the vaccination, while more than 589,000 others were vaccinated with two doses.
