Benghazi – The Khalid bin Al-Waleed Clinic in Benghazi announced, Monday, the launch of its computed tomography (CT) service in the radiology department, allowing patients to undergo both plain and contrast-enhanced scans, in a step aimed at raising the level of diagnostic services within the city.
In a statement to the Libyan News Agency, the Head of the Radiology Department, Dr. Al-Busairi Habaq, said that patient reception for CT scans will begin starting next week during morning hours, under the supervision of an elite group of consultants, radiology specialists, and department physicians.
He added that this new service is part of the clinic’s efforts to provide advanced radiological examinations for citizens without the need to travel outside the city, which contributes to facilitating access to an accurate and rapid medical diagnosis.
