Libya’s House of Representatives kick-off on Tuesday a follow-up session to discuss mechanism for choosing a new prime minister.
Yesterday, the House was briefed by a committee which was set up to chart a political path forward after a national election process collapsed last month.
The committee said on Monday the House should choose a new interim prime minister to replace Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh whose position in power drew legal controversy over conflict of interest after he announced that he will run for president.
