Nearly one million Libyans have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine with a weekly vaccination pace of 100,000 people per week, the UNICEF announced on Monday.
1,625 new people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 23 percent of the infection rate, according to a Monday report by the National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC). The center also said that 25 people died of the virus, while 1,270 have recovered during the same reporting period.
The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) has reported on Sunday that 1,722 new people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 23 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 34 people died of the virus, while 959 have recovered during the same reporting period.
Tunisian Foreign Minister, Othman Jerandi, confirmed that border crossings with Libya will be reopened as soon as the Ministry receives notification from the Tunisian committee concerned with confronting COVID-19.
