Dozens of Libyans lined up today in front of the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank in Tripoli to apply for housing loans which incumbent Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh promised.
The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) reported on Sunday that 2,292 people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 29 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 13 others died of the virus, while 4,030 have recovered during the same reporting period.
Abdullah Al-Lafi, deputy chairman of the Presidential Council, held talks on Saturday discussed with the Turkish Ambassador oto Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, to review the latest developments in the country, announced the council in a statement.
The Libyan Prime Minister-designate, Fathi Bashagha, is preparing to present the cabinet of his new government before an official session of Parliament, which is expected to be announced next week, according to al-Anwan newspaper.
