The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) has reported on Thursday that 1,479 people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 20 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 23 others died of the virus, while 1,600 have recovered during the same reporting period.

Clashes took place on Tuesday in the vicinity of the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) headquarters in Tripoli between ACA Undersecretary guards, affiliated to the “Stability Support Force”, led by AbdulGhani al-Kikli (Ghnaiwa), and the guards of ACA Head, Suleiman al-Shanti, who are affiliated to the Joint Force from Misrata.
