Stephanie Williams, the United Nations Envoy to Libya, held a meeting today with presidential candidate and former parliament speaker Aguila Saleh, to discuss the elections in Libya.
The Libyan parliament ordered on Thursday the formation of a committee to create a roadmap for the period following Dec. 24, when elections were meant to be held, and to submit their proposal within one week.

Richard Norland, the U.S. Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya, directly informed Libyan Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbeibeh, who is running for president in the December 24 elections, that candidates must campaign separately from their public position, according to a statement by the U.S. Embassy on Monday.
