At least 130 migrants were rescued and brought back to Tripoli on Friday evening after their two boats capsized at sea, the U.N. Refugee Agency (UNHCR) announced on early Saturday morning.
The International Organization for Migration (ION) in Libya announced the drowning of 392 people since the beginning of the year, and the loss of 632 people off the Libyan coast.

279 migrants were intercepted off Libya’s coast on Monday night by the Tripoli-based Coast Guard before they were brought back to the country, the U.N. Refugee agency (UNHCR) said.
Tripoli Coast Guard intercepted on Tuesday 172 migrants of several African nationalities, who were on their way to European shores on two boats, according to the Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces in Tripoli.
